Frequently Asked Questions

Mobile Sporting Clays

  • Do I need a license to participate or host a shoot of any size?

No, no licenses are required to shoot sporting clays or host an event.

  • What about insurance?

Insurance coverage is provided for each individual event and property by The Royal United Company and is included in the package price.

  • What if I don’t have a gun?

Loaner guns and ammunition are available for each event at an additional cost.

  • Do you clean up the clays post-shoot?

All clays used are biodegradable and will naturally break down, so no clean up is required.

  • Do I need to provide a source of electricity?

No, all machines and remotes are battery operated, allowing the course to be set almost anywhere.

  • Will someone check my property for suitability before booking?

Yes, Google Earth is used for initial consultation. Prior to the event a physical ground check will be set up to confirm. This is included in your package price.

  • Can my kids or someone who has never shot before participate?

Children can participate as long as they weigh over 90 lbs. Some children are bigger than others and this is the recommendation from the NSCA.
